Sophie Collins (Stewart, DH 2001) is a certified Life Coach and a mentor, with over 10 years' experience supporting the personal ambition and satisfaction of women and young adults. Through non-judgemental, guided sessions, she empowers her clients to navigate challenges in personal progress, relationships, identity and direction.
Mothers today are coping with unprecedented and impossible expectations. Valued as providers of family income, but too often unable to shake the role as primary parent and homemaker. Work and child-related messages on smart phones beep constantly. Schools are reliant on parents for constant engagement and support. With homework, extra learning, clubs and hobbies, play dates, and a complex world of parent and child psychology to navigate, it's no wonder our children are suffering higher levels of anxiety when their constant role models are struggling to find an inner calm!
Sophie works with mothers to simplify, re-prioritise, find a slower rhythm and - crucially - to remember who they are and what they want, underneath all those duties.
Coaching and mentoring support for young adults not only builds confidence and self awareness, but also develops the skills required for big-picture thinking. Together, Spohie works with her clients to navigate the rollercoaster of relationships and friendships, big decisions, identity, values and more.
She has over 10 years' experience supporting young adults through one-to-one mentoring and coaching, sixth form education and group work. The relationship she forms with her clients is unique. Rooted in coaching - which enables clear, independent thinking and confident decision-making - she offers a dependable, non-judgemental and supportive presence outside of family life and friendship groups.
She is delighted to offer alumnae and parents of Downe House a discounted rate of £60 per 55 minute session.
