We enjoyed a wonderful evening celebrating our Scholars' achievements.
Our Heads of Academic Scholars, Yuwen and Lina, gave thanks to Livia Russell (DH 2016) and Alice Boyle (DH 2024), who returned to Downe to share their experiences and reflect on how their education has shaped and supported their journeys so far.
Livia left Downe to study Modern Languages at Cambridge and is now pursuing a portfolio career in the arts, and Alice is now in her second year at Oxford studying Medicine.
Livia and Alice spoke to our new scholars about the importance of making the most of the opportunities which come their way and the importance of remaining curious – inspiring words of advice for our new Scholars.
