For Nicola, Maths is a way of thinking. At Downe, she enjoyed solving problems beyond the textbook. It wasn’t just about memorising formulas but also applying logic to bigger questions. Later, mechanics and probability at A Level revealed the practical side of Maths that she loves. Her passion for logic led her to study Computer Science at Tufts University in Boston.
