On Thursday 2 October the Class of 1975 had their Fifty Year Reunion, kindly hosted by Catherine Palmer, CJ (Jackson) in her house in London. 14 gathered for drinks and dinner and had a very happy and amusing evening. There was a lot of catching up after so many years.
Those present were: Catriona Campbell, Jo More (Cherry), Amanda Milne (Clezy), Kate Jamieson, (Crookenden), Annabel Dallas (Hope), Kiki De Courcey-Ireland, Ghislaine Kennerley (Galbraith), Jane Cleave (Heywood Lonsdale), Joanna Woodhouse (Mains), Catherine Palmer (Jackson), Louise Bober (Pearson), Mary Sewell (Fraser), Jo Farrell (Van Straubenzee) and Lucia Borradaile (Vivian-Neal).
Jo Cherry and Catriona had come over from Tasmania and none of the Class of 1975 had seen Kiki, who lives in France, since she left Downe House!
As a result of this reunion, many of those attending are newly in touch with others from the Class of 1975 who are dotted around the world, including South Africa, Australia, Greece and all over the UK.
They decided the next reunion will probably have to be a lunch as by then they will all be in their 70’s!
“How lucky we were to have had such a great year group and that so many of us are still in touch. Thank you DHSA for your generous contribution towards the evening.” Mary Sewell
