Jenna shared her expertise and insight with our guests to create a truly memorable evening. It was a treat to see beautiful 20th Century and contemporary paintings, prints, sculpture and ceramics in such an inspiring setting.
The beautiful venue was the renowned local art gallery close to Downe House in Kingsclere. The gallery is an established destination for Modern British and Contemporary paintings, prints, sculpture and ceramics. They have an extensive inventory of beautiful artworks, from entry-level to museum-quality works by 20th Century and contemporary artists, including Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, Duncan Grant, Partick Heron, Roger Hilton, Ivor Hitchens, David Hockey, Howard Hodgkin, Augustus John, Henry Moore, Ben Nicholson, Victor Pasmore, Grayson Perry and many more.
The collection is displayed in a former rope merchant’s home, with stunningly furnished interiors throughout, allowing guests to imagine how they might live with art in their own homes.
