Downe House Society Welcome Dinner 2026

Alumnae and friends Alicia Mynheer and Cordelia Brown welcomed our Class of 2026 to the Downe House alumnae community

We celebrated the incredible achievements of the Downe House Class of 2026, as they prepare for their exams in a wonderful evening filled with reflection, laughter and excitement for all that lies ahead.

After a delicious supper, we heard inspiring words from our current Head and Deputy Head Senior, Hettie and Rose, and two outstanding alumnae. Alicia Mynheer (Hockless, DH 2007) is now working at McLaren Racing and Cordelia Brown (Kerr, DH 2007) is Marketing Director at the England and Wales Cricket Board. Their stories were a powerful reminder of the confidence, ambition and lifelong friendships that begin at Downe House.

We wish our leavers every success as they prepare for their next chapter, and we are delighted to officially welcome them into our alumnae community. We look forward to following their journeys and celebrating all they go on to achieve.
