We were joined by Downe House alumna Georgina Pollock (DH 2019) and parents Mrs Caroline Andrewes and Mr Guy Parry-Williams, who shared their experience working in the AI field with our Lower Sixth students.
Our speakers encouraged students to find their niche, while keeping pace with technology to understand what’s possible as AI evolves and stay ahead of the changes to come.
Georgina Pollock (DH 2019) has a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Ethics and is now a Consultant in Strategy, Brand & Reputation at Deloitte. She explained the many benefits of AI innovation, while also highlighting the importance of respecting privacy, fairness, and transparency.
Caroline Andrewes is founder of Medivys and is building secure AI-powered neural networks, focused on reducing the administration burden facing general practice. She emphasised their partnership with expert GPs, as well as the power of AI tools that have the potential to revolutionise healthcare, improving outcomes and reducing costs.
