Our Headmistress, Mrs Emma McKendrick, Director of Admissions, Mrs Tara Reeve, and Development Director, Ms Hannah Litvack, were delighted to come together with our thriving Downe House Thai community in October.
A highlight of the trip was a fantastic riverboat dinner, so kindly organised and hosted by our generous parents, during which guests enjoyed a delicious Japanese meal whilst watching the lights of Bangkok float by. We were so pleased that Downe House alumna, Chollada Sophonpanich (DH 1998), joined us to share how her time at Downe has given her a lifelong love of learning and how she spent her weekends at school writing letters and listening to the radio with her friends – how times have changed!
We are very grateful to all our Thai families – past, current and prospective – for their very warm welcome and generous hospitality.
